Hello John , I run a '26 Deluxe , '29 KJ and '27 Ace all
with the orriginal "all steel" plates and use a good quality
20/50 . I do a lot of miles all year round , I only get
clutch sticking problems in very cold weather (not that it
gets all that cold here in England)but a couple of minutes
running with the clutch engaged usually frees the clutch ,
then no more problems . If your clutch is still stuck then I
can only agree with Rohan and Steve , put a pint (English
size i.e. 20 ounces) of petrol in the clutch housing ,
engage clutch with the hand lever and try kicking over ,
leave like that until free or you are fed up , then you may
have to check inside engine . Best of luck , keep us all
informed , Ken
