Well, looks like it's going to get a scrounged rear wheel off a BSA Golden Flash left over from a friend's project. The goal with this one seems to be to just get it so it can be ridden a couple times and then will go back to the owner's back yard under a tarp there to "ripen" until the owner slips his mortal coil and it passes on to someone who will make it more as it ought to be. Too bad that's what's it's present fate, but there you are.

I saw your post on facebook as well as Benjamins responses. I
agree.... The correct wheel would be the same as the
Henderson, 20-27, no brake which was also the same as Big X
and Super X for those years. The Henderson and X brochures
made a big deal out of this interchangeability. Also the
correct Henderson, X profile fender blanks are available from
Vintage Steel in Australia. Look in the K model and early
Deluxe sales brochures for more detail.

Here is a link to the Excelsior Autocycle facebook page,
Kieth Wissell just put one together on a 34 X, same sidecar
as Deluxe. May want to contact him, I think he may be working
on another one.

Well, from posting this on the AMCCA FB page, I've found that
it's a "floater" sidecar designed in Australia, but built
under license by Henderson from 20-23. Apparently an early
Indian Chief, Scout or Super-X front wheel will fit as will a
Deluxe or KJ front wheel. If there's anybody that has one of
these that they would consider parting with or knows where I
can get one, please let me know.

Thanks ...............

The owner of the 1922 Deluxe that's nearly road ready has
produced most of a sidecar that he's like to get refurbished
enough to be road worthy and installed. I have looked all
over the web and the only picture I can find of this chassis
is one from the Barber Museum, but with no info about it. Can
anyone identify it's manufacturer?

Also, will be looking for an original (hopefully) wheel w/
axle and fender.

Any help on any of the above would be appreciated,

Vancouver BC
