Ron Thanks for hanging in there. I think I found what you were talking about on J&P: J&P Part #: 330-075 Mfr Part #: 33-2150 I will try, myself, to paste the link: https://www.jpcycles.com/product/330-075/v-twin-manufacturing-early-taillight If it does not appear, it seems to be the result of a bug in the BBS platform that isn't handling the less than/greater than symbols properly. Anyway, the actual tail light and wiring connector looks identical to the Victor from 1920. The bracket is very close, but seems sturdier than the Victor. WRT the headlight, I just am not understanding why there appears to be no one making or selling NOS, used, or reproductions. They were OEM on Henderson and Excelsior and I have seen them on restorations. Where are they coming from? Mark ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- No idea why it's chopping up the link. If it breaks the link again it's a link to J&P Cycles. Search under Lights, then tail lights, Incandescent. For the headlamp you might have to take one and add the bubing for the support arms yourself. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Let's try that again! ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- You might check this out. Not exact but they have a period look. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Folks, I have attached part of an advertisement from a July 1920 issue of Motorcycle Illustrated for a VICTOR headlight and tail light. The advertisement mentions they are being fitted on Excelsior motorcycles and their appearance is identical to that I have seen on period 1919 Hendersons. My question is if anyone has or knows the location of one or both (headlight preferred), whether used, NOS, or reproduction. I already have the "loop rods" that connect it to the fork head, but need the bowl assembly. Until today, I did not know the brand name, so I am hoping this makes it easier to identify the desired parts. Any leads, public or private, would be much appreciated. Mark Hunnibell |
