Needing 4 nos wrist pin clips as provided by the factory

If you are talking about the original curled sheetmetal retainers used in the groove in the wrist pin and rod I would not recommend them for any engine. They might be fine and never give a problem. But I think that they are too unreliable to use in a very expensive rare engine. We never used them in the engines we rebuilt. Use a regular snap ring as used on modern pistons or make some aluminum or teflon buttons for retaining the wrist pins. If the wrist pin retainer fails a very disappointing wrist pin gouge will develop in the cylinder before you know it is happening.
