No I don't think it is Henderson either, this engine just
looks similar to Henderson in some respects. The front
engine mount is identical to Militaire or Militor. My
engine is missing the rear mounts, may have been cut off.
The bell housing looks similar to Militaire as well. Who
knows, the manufacturer of this engine may have been
copying everybody else's engines at the time. Ben

The front engine mount is much different and more
substantial than
the Henderson mount. It could be a car engine and
nothing to do
with Henderson. Early car companies got ideas from other
manufacturers with the result that many products were
similar.

Thats where you examine the camshaft, and see if it has
been
turned around.

the direction of a 4 stroke engine's rotation is dictated
by the camshaft.
