I have no idea about that process.

What I do know is that repairing aluminum engine cases is a job for a professional to do - particular for something as valuable as a Henderson engine.

Arno St. Denis has repaired my Henderson lower case, and my Harley KH cases. While he does do typical machining work, his specialty is aluminum case repairs. He usually has a number of damaged Hen and Indian 4 cases on the floor of his shop, lined up awaiting his magic touch. He's also very good at Harley cylinder fin repairs.

Has anyone had any luck repairing cases using the old acytolene generating welding process?
