Hi Rick, You are quite right! We discovered the mistake, and steve has now sent me the correct stabilizer springs. They are in transit from Preston, WA. Unfortunately, he had already sent the two front suspension springs. They have not arrived yet, but will be returned. Steve has been extremely helpful. Cheers, Carl ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Jeff Roth has been a great help to me as well. Thanks Jeff! I've been quiet over the past year due to the moving of Motion Pro to Loomis, CA and Chris's collection to a seperate new location still here in the SF peninsula, Redwood City. Anyway hopefully soon I can return to the Henderson sidecar project. Karl, the photo you posted appear to be the springs that support the front of the sidecar, not the ones in the strut. I could be wrong as I haven't seen either for a while but concerned you guys might not be talking about the same parts. Rick ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- My good Henderson friend, Jeff Roth sent me a tip which led to success! He suggested that I should contact Steve Thielicke, who has been helpful in the past with difficult parts and information. Steve responded almost immediately. Yes, he had an extra set of stabilizer springsv which he offered to send me for a very reasonable sum. They are now on their way to me in Norway. My sincere thanks to these two gentlemen for their generosity. I am now looking forward to a safer sidecar experience! |
