Ben,

Between 1920 and 1928 there's at least 5 variations of the Deluxe cylinders I can think off the top of my head, there's probably more. The flange thicknesses change around too, someone probably can explain that better than me.

My guess is the first style you describe is Model K. The 1922 Deluxe have a one year only cylinder that are finned almost identical to the Model K except with bigger ports, probably your second style. Your third style are probably 23-26. 27 and 28 are each one year only styled Ricardo cylinders.

Shoot me an email with some photos of the cylinders you're trying to ID and I'll help out if I can.

Need some help from the Henderson gurus please. I have three distinctly different types of cylinders here.

One style I believe to be K model, small ports and 6 vertical fins on the top of the first horizontal fin.

Second style has the larger intake and exhaust ports, but the same horizontal fins around the exhaust port. Only 5 vertical fins on the top of the first horizontal fin.

Third style has the same size ports as the second, but larger vertical fins around the exhaust port. Only 4 vertical fins on the top of the first horizontal fin, and he vertical fins are taller than the other cylinders.

My question is what years do each suit? I think the first is 20-21, then 22-25, and 25-27? Would that be right?

I'm sure I've read a post here on cylinders before but I can't find it.

Cheers Ben
