Hi folks,

I purchased a sweet looking, sweet running '30 KJ a couple
years ago. The romance blossomed until one of the rods
decided to shed its babbitt. I had a local Model A man redo
he one rod bearing, but it shed again soon after.

So now it's time to spend some major $$ on a complete engine
ebuild. I'm not afraid to spend the money, but I don't
want to do this again for another 10 or 20 years.

To whom do you trust your engines?

Dave
Hello Dave , sorry to hear your problems , sounds as though
you had an oilway blocked , did you check to make sure oil
flowed from the oil way in the rod journal before fitting
new one ??
