As much as I admired Otis, he had his detractors. Some in
the AMCA thought he was nothing more than a pain in the
arse. Perhaps they were envious of his notoriety.
Hendersons would have been nothing without him however.

I'm right behind you.
Otis had just passed away right at the time I started
getting into old motorcycles / old gas engines / old
tractors etc. etc. etc..
One of the things that inspired me was seeing his picture in
the Smithsonian Magazine leaning on a KJ, when they did an
article on old bike restores. I still have the magazine.

This picture is making me want to put some Little Rascals
episodes on Netflix.

Unless this document is bogus it's all right here in the

If the document is in doubt then it should be noted
somewhere prominently. Otherwise relative newcomers like me
will accept that something written by the Restoral Society
on an old fashioned typewriter as fact.
