On closer inspection the Autoped switch has obvious differences, probably made by Eveready as they made the whole darn contraption . ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- There is nothing more in the article about the switch. After all, what more is there to say? I have the identical switch on my 1916 Auoped with removable key. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Barry, thanks for posting those pages, especially the one with the image of "The Neat Magneto Switch." I have seen those on a couple tool boxes and wondered what their function was. Consider posting a view that shows what the rest of the copy has to say about the switch to fill in our understanding of it. Did you know the switch serves as a key and is removable? |
