Yes, according to a private email from a friend I got this morning. It's looking like a very late X Super Sport with this serial number: SX 8807 suggesting it might have been made up of spares after the line shut down and possibly as late as 1932, perhaps the 7th one, otherwise you might expect a 7400+ number for 1931. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- SX = prefix for super sport - no? ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Thanks for the Ballak reminder, but the help sought is due to the peculiar, non-standard, number. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I've been looking at this Super Sport X recently. I'm not too sure about this serial number "something" X 3807 or more likely 8807. Has anyone seen the sequence of 4 numbers preceded by an "X" before?
