Very sorry to hear of Deans passing. I spent many hours in his garage and heard more than a few interesting tales. He sold me my Henderson baskit case and assisted me in many ways in gitting it together. He was always eager to talk and help out in anyway he could. He was a very real down to earth and decent person. He helped many in our hobie and he will be missed. Next time I take it out I will be thinking of him amd looking up with a big grin.----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS -----
Dean was a great guy. He was extremely helpful with great advice for restorations of Hendersons and Super X's. He also had a fun sense of humor, as evidenced by this Christmas card he sent a year ago. The "Dean" of west coast Hendersons will be missed.

I am very sorry to report that my friend Dean Salmans died last night. I present this just finished 1929 KJ in his memory.
I did not have time to send him pictures of this bike before he died. The restoration of this bike was due to his earlier efforts.
If you have an older friend in this hobby I urge you to spend time with them before you can not.
Humbly yours,
