Congrats to all who did the cannonball! It was neat to watch the progress and cheer on the riders. It is however no suprise to me how well the Hendersons did! I've done 3000 miles in the last month on mine including a trip to NYC (for a hot dog on Coney Island with Girard Fox...)and I think I tightend the chain twice...they really are a well designed machine and very modern for their time, very capable of standing up to today's highways once you have them right. Its the best, most fun touring bike I ever had.

Indeed the Hendersons were doing very well. Congrats to everybody, who participated.
#33 Andy Kaindl's bike was not only looking original, but was indeed original in all aspects, incl the original Zenith carb, which he has fine tuned the week before sending the bike over. Seems he has done a good job.

I am so impressed with the results, and how well the Hendersons held up.
I took a lot of moxie to run those bikes all the way across the country like that.
A huge congratulations goes out to all of the riders and crew for pulling off another Cannonball Run.
And hey! How about that little 2nd cousin 1913 Excelsior?
Right on, Brad Wilmarth. You have proven once again. You Da Man!

Congratulations Mark ! Biggest pleasant surprise for me was how well the
Deluxes performed. Did Frank's bike have a counterbalanced crank? That
unrestored looking deluxe was the most beautiful bike on the run ( to my eye) .
Of course it was nice to se an r11 Beemer take 3rd place since I just bought one!
