This is the Goulding frame I have on my 1931 KJ, a John Scharle bike. The sidecar was added by Cliff Pease after he bought the Henderson from Scharle.

Last photo, for comparison here is a picture from a Henderson sidecar brochure I have. The sidecar model is not specified. The year is not specified either, an early deluxe is pictured.

Dave/Barry,
According to the Commander, Gouldings will fit low frame Deluxe's through KJs. FLXI made a Deluxe setup, a picture of my fathers is attached. Lined up the Goulding to Sharle's KL last weekend just for fitting purposes and it would be fine, picture attached as well.

A friend just called me asking if I knew anyone with a sidecar for sale for his KJ.

Someone recently told me about a sidecar for sale. Or maybe it was a complete bike with a sidecar. But I can't remember who it was, or even where it was (Oley?).

Seems I've got CRS Syndrome (Can't Remember Sheet)

So if you told me about one, or if you know of one, please refresh my memory!

I actually know zero about sidecars, so could someone enlighten me about what was available for the Hens in the KJ era? Are they the same as the ones for DeLuxe? Were competing brands (Goulding, FLXI) available for Hens, and were they complete bolt-on units?

Thanks,
Dave
