Dave, the way I did it was, I put a wedge in the shock in the extended position.with the rubber bushings in the springs and in place, I Then took two rachet straps,put them around the fork and handlebars cranked on the rachet straps until I could put the bolt through the shock. It worked very well for me and had to make nothing,but the wedge out of wood. Good luck to you. Juan

Does anyone by any chance know of an off the shelf spring compressor that will work on the KJ front main springs (Or do I have to yet again stop and make up something)?
