Thanks Dave. I'm on track to try out a new sprocket ratio on a Super X, hence the spline question prior to removing my wheel and sprocket. Will report on the outcome in a month or so. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I just measured my rear hub with my calipers but not a mic. I believe it to be an excellent specimen. The both sides appear to be nominally the same. Across the flats is about 2.460 - 2.470 and for the widthes they used a 3/8' cutter. The both sides are not timed to each other. I have a couple real good sprockets and an excellent brake drum I could measure if you like. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- It's been a while since I've had a K.J. or Super X rear hub out of a frame. I'm working on a new sprocket for a Super X. The splines on the hub for the rear sprocket are the same as the splines on the other side for the brake drum, correct? |
