One other note about oils,

Since oil companies are always looking for ways to save a penny per liter they quite often modify oil specs.
What this means is today a particular brand or spec may be great for these engines but next year the spec can change.
Perfect example was Mobil 1 15w50. I used to recommend this oil as a full synthetic but they had cut back on base stock making up the difference with cheap friction modifiers and slip enhancers which is bad for our application in the clutch. They now make a 20w50 full synthetic designed for engines that share engine and clutch and its pretty high priced. Interesting if you follow just what they are doing here!
I have to stay on top of oils as I need to recommend to my customers what oils to use in engines I build. I prefer they quit changing things as Its alot of work to figure out from year to year what oil may be best.
