Hi Jeff,

I'm not aware of anyone making the points, there seems to be plently of parts kicking around for them, I buy up old Bosch mags just for those type of parts. Even if they are incorrect rotation, and different models, some parts can be used.
I've never tried to rebuild them but it could probably be done.
Check both gaps, that could be causing you problems.

Rob, has anyone found a source for Bosch FF4 points?

My K.J. got hard to start at the recent Texas road run. (Had to start push starting it -- great entertainment for the AMCA'ers). Got home and found the inside of the mag cap had lots of carbon/graphite dust coating the inside. Also found the points a little scored. Cleaned everything up and it starts well and runs smooth.

But the points have long since lost their tungsten coating or whatever that was. They'll foul again in time. Would like to put in a fresh set but don't know of a source.

Have already asked Gene H. and a guy on the web, Bill Lopoulos, to no avail. Any suggestions? See points pic.

Jeff
