----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- can anybody give some info of the use of a linkert M11 carb as found on my KJ i am aware of the use of an schebler DLX-76 as described in some of the literature but was just wondering whether or not the M11 is some sort of replacement since i have not been able to find any reference whatsoever of its usage on other models or make,s thanks for any input A book called Henderson and His Motorcycles was published in 1969 by H.V. Eddy. In his book on page 29 is a discription of the KL and a few differences between KJ+nKL. Quote "An adaptor plate was used on the inlet manifold flange to take 1 1/4" carburettor. These K.L. jobs were fitted with the 1930 - 31 camshafts. The price was $30. more than theK.J. model. Anyone what the corect carb for the KL is ? Does AMCA judging except DLX 70 or 76 for the KL |
